Re: ONS Floodgate XL RC2
thanks for the feedback! I am happy with the vehicle layout(with EONS vehicles) and have no plans on changing it. Infantry battles are the main focus of this map. No hoverboards or flying vehicles, sorry. Jump pads to get places faster would be ok and I will look into that. I agree on the EMP. Its l...

Re: ONS-Downtown (UT3 port)
32 player Death Warrant version now available in first post of this thread. The main concern is performance with 32 players. If the map lags I may have to sacrifice some of the visuals which would consist of removing some poly intense UT3 static meshes. Enjoy :scool: If anyone is interested in the v...

Re: ONS-Downtown (UT3 port)
I've come up with a node link that may be better for 32 players. I still have to finish the changes. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/d1rtysanch3z/newnode_ONSbest-1.jpg * there are 2 node paths you can take to attack the enemy core. * tank node functions as it does in UT3, standalone. * in the s...

Re: ONS-Downtown (UT3 port)
thanks guys. I agree that the link setup as it is could be kind of stale for 32 players. Truthfully I never cared for UT3 Downtown much, I just started making it for 2k4 just to get some new stuff in the game. I am all for changing the link setup or even adding new areas to the map for more nodes to...

Re: ONS-Downtown (UT3 port)
oops another file (for the custom nodes) will need to be installed. It will be embedded in the map in the next version. Info and link added to first post, Wormbo's Onslaught Specials is the file.

Re: no vehicle Onslaught maps?
my idea is very different than beer battle. Beer battle there is only a couple main corridors to get around the map. I would make multiple different paths to take to get from node to node. Beer Battle is very much of a choke point map because of the few corridors to take. My idea is more like an ONS...

no vehicle Onslaught maps?
just curious what some opinions were about having an ONS map or two without vehicles? No, I'm not trying to reinvent or take anything away from ONS as it is but a little variation would be cool. I do believe ONS could stand on its own without vehicles as a great gametype. I envision maps to be somew...
