Preorder UT3 for $40 -- good or bad idea?

I found UT3 available as a preorder from GoGamer.com for $40 plus a small amount for shipping. Is that a good price? Don't most new game releases go for $50 these days?

I'm a Fatwallet.com type of cheapskate, so I'd prefer to wait a couple extra days to receive the game rather than buy it locally and pay extra. But is that $40 preorder the best price? Any chance the game might be available as a Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) special?

You might be paying for something you won't receive until 2112. I'm sure as hell not gonna pre-order. Besides; they haven't even said definitively whether it will be Direct x-9 or x-10. Or given a 100% certain release date. Or blah blah blah. Too many questions marks for me.

Yeah you know it makes sence get it pre ordered I did last January lol.

I know dont know how much more you would expect to pay in the shops on release day ? I paid £20 so thats around $40 so that sounds a good price to me.
