Idont understand the hate of Vista....I use it and have 0 problems.
I tried Linux for kicks, and I just got the feeling of an unfinished product, and half of my software wasnt compatible with it. I tried ubuntu. I do HATE microsoft however because their product is WAY overpriced and their stupid anti pirating stuff is annoying as hell!

I don't understand it either. I have it at work. I even tried installing old stuff for the heck of it, and it all ran.

However, with that said, that was pretty funny. I love the part when he says something like "see it wont even load in this machine"

That is the mystery (and much of the annoyance) with Vista. For some people it causes no problems, others can't seem to get it to work in a shredder. My Father recently installed it on 2 identical machines (which both previously had XP running on them with no problems). On one machine Vista installed and ran fine. On the other it installed and....................
After a month and a half of jumping through hoops with MS I think he finally got it working.
So I think the hate for Vista comes from the 50% of people that have problems with it (and the people they know).

Vista here and the only problems i've had are minor issues with drivers (however i'm also on a laptop so it's right down the order of driver updates). That said...i;m happy :)

LOL, that doesn't make sense at all. I'm not a Linux user, but as Vista user you can't say that Linux felt unfinished. Vista is an unfinished product on itself! The original release should've been Windows 7 but took too long for it to finish, so they released the product anyways under a different name: Vista! (Read Wiki if you don't agree)

As for my oppinion, i am not too pleased with Vista either as it sucks a sh!tload of system resources. Friend of mine bought a laptop with a GF8800, Intel quadcore 2.7Ghz, etc. It's all up to date if i might say, the only problem is that they installed Vista on it in the shop. With XP he could quadriplebox (running 4 game clients) Lineage 2 on high details, 8x AA and another 16x AA from the driver itself. Thanks to Vista, it starts lagging incredibly harsh when running 2 clients on medium details. As for my computer, didn't have a good run on Vista either. On my dad's work, they reinstalled all computers with XP again, and (except for 1) students in all IT classes on my school went back to XP.

All together, it's not even worth downloading a cracked version.

I think that if I was looking to buy a product and reports were
that only 50% percent of the users did not like it, or were not
able to get it to work as advertised, I would have to scamper
as quickly as possible to buy it before being sold out. NOT

Well once again...I dont have ANY probs with it. With Linux my web cam was not compatible...my wireless router would not work, a few of my games were not compatible, and when you look through the forums for help all you see is geeknerd techno babble that no one but them understands.

"OK take the trunkated superkilobit driver and add it to the biforcated subrooted bisystem of the indicated device and then route through the file system of the second subfolder of the first subfolder and allocate the resources to the dedicated memory to the undedicated memory of the hyper chip, and then take the megabit solution deleting the superkilobit nodules and drivers and restart you puter."
