Hit ESC and bring up the map when you're dead, and you can click the node you want to spawn at.

I have it set to automatically come up to the map when I die. I dunno how I did it at this point.

Keeps me from going nuts +and respawning to fast really and I can pick what node or core i wanna start at.

Another thing you can do that most people don't use or even know exisits is how you can set and change as needed your preferred spawn location. This defaults to the nearest (as per the link chain) to the enemy friendly node that your team controls that is not under attack, but this isn't always the best location when map geography or other factors are taken into account. Simply bring up the map and right click on a friendly node (or even the core) that you want to spawn at all the time to do this.

This tactic can be very useful if there are pickups in out of the way places on the map or vehicle spawns that most people tend to ignore that you can use for most of a game. Also a good idea to use this on maps with very imbalanced weapon lockers. Spawn all the time at the node with the "good" locker and then teleport out and you'll be better prepared for any battles.
