i see it being played daily now, which is good :rr:
it takes quite a bit of patience to learn due to how different it is.
now that most people have learned it though, i suggest you guys try out the other version. its even further from your average onslaught game than the original, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing...a lot of people, including me, have ended up preferring it. even a few that hated the original like this one, which is odd.
it's actually very simple to play, much simpler than it's bigger brother. here is my guide to playing both of them for good measure.
happy fraggin!
it seems that spam vikings has accepted ons-maelstrom...

I would second that for the server. Malestorm_NV (no vechicles) is a fun map . might be worth giving a try. Hell we still have up 3 versions of ........crapola mind blank. Is it Desolate? You know the one.

I still don't like the linear version of Dreamus with all of the mine whoring. Anyhow, Maelstrom - a fun map, and a very tactial one - if only my team would listen a little more to what I'm telling them via mic! Half the time if people would stop pushing forward for 30 seconds to cut off an enemy advance, we'd have the game. You really have to keep an eye on the enemy and keep a wide front, or make lightning-fast probing advances, take the shots on their core then fall back.

No worries hunter. It's been on my list of things to do. In fact, it should be there by the weekend.
