Yes, there's a place to get it for free, I dunno if it's legal or no but it's free.
Are you familiar with Torrents? Well, if not then I just made your day... :cyclopsani:
First you need a client do download all the stuff, I used U-torrent, however you can use:
Bittorrent
Azereus,
Here you will be able to find the files you are looking for:
http://netforbeginners.about.com/od/pee ... search.htm
The site to download stuff is private (you need an invitation from an active member) but there are a lot of free site to find what you are looking for, I recommend:
Torrentspy
The pirate bay
Bitenova

P.S.: I don't promote piracy, I promote sharing. :drunken:

Sharing or not, the movies that are being discussed are under copyright. There is no problem using torrents to share data whose owner has deemed it acceptable to download free of pay back of some sort. Just like there is no problem with using http, ftp, scp, gopher, etc. Examples of this are software licensed under the GPL, songs whose artists are not looking for royalties, videos posted by producers not looking for royalties.

However, for material whose owner has not decided it is ok for downloading, it is a copyright violation. And it may or may not be punishable by law depending on your location.

DW does not endorse any use of copyright violation. If you need to discuss that type of activity please use a search engine and find a site that does not care about the consequences of such actions.

No problem. Just trying to squash any further discussion regarding downloading and get the thread back on track.

Here are some MUST-SEE movies (of any genre) in my book:

The Prestige
Memento
Fight Club

I like all sorts of movies actually, I just figured these parallel with the darker action movies.

The Prestige is one of the best films I have ever seen. I thought it was great.

Memento is just so original and gritty in its delivery that it's worth seeing.

What's wrong with Requiem? I thought it was really interesting and a dark but important view on Western life.

PI, which is also an Aronofsky film (like Requiem) is absract and out there, but there are a lot of tweaked people in our community that may like the plot.

I'm a bit tweaked myself though, so maybe take these with caution :laughing6:
