It's not hard to learn at all. Basically, you just say what you are going to do, and then, depending on what you roll (usually on a d20) it either happens the way you intended, or it fails.

For instance, if I wanted to coerce a merchant into telling me the whereabouts of the goods he stole, I would use the Intimidate skill. There would be conditional modifiers (such as the merchant's Charisma score) and Skill modifiers (such as MY Charisma score) then I roll a d20, add the modifiers and the DM will tell me whether or not I succeed. Rolling a 20 results in a critical, and rolling a 1 results in a critical fumble. It sounds complicated, but it is really simple.

First column on the left is the most important. Rolling up a character is the big hurdle to get over, after that most everything is pretty simple (as long as you're not playing a Wizard, Druid or Cleric).

Alright... Right now, the party is looking like:

Wail of Suicide (maybe)
Taz
Jdizzle

That is definitely not enough, especially because... well... nevermind.
Seriously, we need two more people at least.

Sounds like fun, although I have no experience playing D&D. Time is the biggest factor for me. When and how often would this take place?

The time will be decided when I find out who all is in (if it happens.) We would gather probably once a week, or twice if so decided. It can be on the weekends, or the weekday nights, I have no problem with either.
