e - I love the old style G15 the new on does not have a movable screen. I also have all the lights on my machine in blue which is the color of the old style g15 lights. Hum come to think of it I better figure a way to get the old style again for when this one decides to give up the ghost.

Are there substantial differences in keyboards in terms of responsiveness? Would it make sense to buy a keyboard that was intended for gaming and would I really feel a difference? I know that some keyboards have special WASD type pads, but I don't need that; I'm just wondering about the responsiveness of the keys in general.

Any suggestions? It seems like they would need to be ordered online since most office stores have mundane keyboards intended for Internet surfing multimedia.
I have a specific choice: mid-deep keys (not laptop style, but neither the thick ones), Volume control, Music controls, tactically responsible key placements, and that's it. Gaming keyboards... if you're better with it, take one, else don't.

(i want a G15 Logitech btw)
perfect description of a g15...i would have to say the g15 is the best way to go...that's what im using right now and i have a feeling i will be using this same exact keyboard for the next...15 years its amazingly held together and is overall a tough keyboard, the only problem with it is you have to make sure u have the desk space available because the g1-18 keys adds about 3 inches onto the regular size of a keyboard soooo the g15 gets my stamp of approval...and also it is extremerly easy to macro key combinations..such as `tossartifact like i have for invasion :)

oh and along side of that the g5 gaming mouse is nice....the wheel moves side to side so you can have say flak and shock set to one side or the other

rofl i too have the G15 keyboard (1st version with closable mini lcd and neon blue light) BUT i have the G5 laser edition (brand new) and i never had a mouse that was so perfectly created and works so epic as the G5:O

my keyboard is now 7-8 months old and starts to show signs of decaying:P however, if you look at my old keyboards which didn't make it past the 3th month, you see that the G15 is worth the money. You can call it Shifter proof equipment.

(And to complete the set:)(No i'm not advertising:P)
For a nice speaker build up i'd recommend the logitech z-2300, not too pricy but unbelievibly much power for set of 2 satelites and 1 sub, the neighbours hate me:P
