I love the oven... I love teamkilling on low waves.
Higher waves perhaps it should be disabled, that would solve the problem of hurting the team. disable it at wave 7 perhaps?

I'm with Envy on this one. In the early waves, we're all messing around. Disabling it around wave 7 sounds like a good idea. Not only that, it'll fix that luci rumor you heard.Envy wrote:I love the oven... I love teamkilling on low waves.

The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

In my opinion that map needs to stay disabled. Why should you have a weapon on invasion that can pawn everything if you know how to get to the uber secret place that it's located in. Not only that but once said weapon is gotten person can shoot through walls and other obstacles without being killed by monsters. Common give the monsters a fighting chance!venitocamelas wrote:one thing wraith, the map ULTIMATEWEAPONQUEST is disable too?

No shame, no dishonor, will run away to fight another day!

Now that you can get a flight weapon, ultimate weapon quest would be easy to get a weapon using that. We had taken the map off a long time ago, probably about a year ago because the mapper wouldn't compromise on a couple changes done, and it was lagging badly with the version that he had sent, and so he said he would rather not have it going than to compromise.
I don't see it as team killing, more team pranking. You can't shove someone in a pit of lava on any random map for example, but you can tell them there's a shiny nickel down there. Knowing that jumping in lava can kill you, if you jump in and die, most reasonable persons' reaction would be, "Hey, you tricked me... that lava did kill me, and I'd best steer clear. Not the nicest thing to do, but not enough cause to take lava off all the maps.Jinx wrote:you love team killing on low waves?
how is that fair in any way?
low levels need to run around and kill early waves.
just because you are capable on running around waves 7 - 16 doesn't mean they can.
they NEED those early waves.
Now consider that you've done it twice, been killed, watched 3 or 4 other people get killed, read text chat like, "LOL, you've gotta trans out fast. no, like REEEAAALLY fast LOLOL".... if you jump in that lava again, you're being dumb and are fair game for the mostly good-natured ridicule you'll receive. And yes, I've been killed on that map too... that's how I learned not to go in the appliances. Learning is fun.
Yes :evil1:Jinx wrote:you love team killing on low waves?
