I'd like to see them removed for the following reasons.
1) They don't do enough damage
2) They don't fire fast enough
3) Their attacks are poorly designed
4) Quake monster pack is 24mb
5) Their point values are totally screwed
Quake Monsters
I believe strongly that the snow men needs to be juiced up....alot.D2Boss in the 'post your screenshots (for inv)' wrote:I took some pictures of the new "quake" monsters.

Instead of removing them, can we fix 'em?
The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

Before these monsters their where plenty of others Jon. These servers have seen their rotation of monsters I believe what ever the Admin does he can find a a nasty that will be good enough to kill us if given the chance.Jons Return wrote:you could remove them or modify them... but what would go in w2 and 3 if you took out the skyhorse thingy? And if you made them much harder, people would go back to hiding after wave 1....

No shame, no dishonor, will run away to fight another day!

Firstly:
Scrag: 10 points
Vore: 15 points
Fiend: 15 points
Shambler: 20 points
Verdicts:
Scrag: Rarely hits and very easy to kill. I preferred the bio dudes.
Vore: Irritating, as there's no way to out-run their projectiles (which are very damaging if the vore's dead) unless you get something in the way, yet very easy to kill the actual monster. They should a) make some attempt not to get killed and b) their projectiles should have a lifetime so they destroy themselves after a certain amount of time. atm we may as well have (im)mobile missile launchers.
Fiend: Not too bad, but don't touch shrikes.
Shambler: Spends its entire life doing its fire animation, and even then it's inaccurate.
Vagarys (spiders): Better, although imo they strafe a little too much, maybe they should be quicker instead.
