just got kicked from the DW chikago inv server "for arguing with an admin" i mean cmon cant state your own opninion?

well, the argue was about the mid-game map voting. on that server it says, its not allowed when a map is running etc.
but if im able to do so, and im not suited with the map, i'll vote, and there are alot of peeps out there who cant/wont read that message (cause of language-knowing issues or w/e) and vote. surley those guys wont get kicked cause it takes a player to report that specific guy to an admin (won't mention any names caus those peeps are only doing their jobs). and ofc you cant argue with an admin, otherwise they just kick you for 10 or 20 maps, like i got kicked just a few moments ago.

the only thig i wanna get rid of is,
if any of you guys would've searched google about that small, litlle pretty f**king thing, then it wouldn't be even a problem!

To discuss about the Midgame Map Voting, I'll just give you a link that'll show why it's against the rules: Midgame Voting

The reason why it's enabled is incase something happens that'll interfere the game from progressing (ie: the miniboss glitching)...

There is probably no one who likes every map but just because one person wants a different map doesn't mean it's ok to interrupt the game at the expense of everyone else.

Then there are some mid game votes but the voter leaves the server yet their map vote still registers. When the game ends, that vote is first on the list and it gets voted. Bah.

You can always excercise your right to vote but also in a Democracy you have to deal with the consequences of you decision! With Democracy also comes RESPONSIBILITY! If you refuse to be responsible and abide by the rules then your privillage of being on the server will be revoked.

By the way it is not a Democracy it is DW server, we allow you to play here and we have guide lines for play. If you want to quote the constitution and law then you also need to understand ignorance of the law is never an excuse. You on the other hand know the "law" and refuse to abide by it, therefore the consequence. Your decision! you play here you go by what we ask, the other option is also clear. Once again it all comes down to decisions and choices.

If you choose to break the rules, then we'll choose to warn/kick/ban you for doing so. As owner/operators of these servers, we have an obligation to the populace to equally appropriate disciplinary actions to maintain an orderly environment.

Not only that, but we do indeed work, to the best of our ability, to break language barriers. Many clan members are fluent in several languages... i.e. French, Spanish, German, etc.

Seriously? I mean, I've never seen ANYBODY win an arguement with an admin, anywhere in any game/gametype. It's sort of like walking up to a cop and giving him the finger and expecting him not to write you up for public indecency or whatever. It promotes discord and riles other players on the server up, so instead of arguing forever about it on the server and bringing many more players in on the arguement, we choose remove the instigator before it gets out of hand.

Bring your ideas to these forums, not the server. Voice/text chat is intended for those playing the game.

Ok. Your attempt to paint us as a bunch of idiots doesn't impress me. I don't even maintain a UT2k4 server, I only admin, and I knew that. The map vote is there FOR A REASON. If the server glitches (as it has in the past with the mini-boss), the server will be stuck on the same wave, forever, until an admin can come in a force a map switch. In the event that there is no admin to come in, and do such, it then falls on the community to force a mid-game map vote, BUT ONLY in that instance.

We don't mind discussing the issue with you peacebly, but your attitude and choice of wording/phrasing will more that likely turn virtually everyone here off to that.

1) The servers are: Death Warrant: Monster Mash

2) We make the rules by which MM and all our other servers run.

3) You have two choices. You can either abide or begone.

4) In the Democracy you so reverently tout, elections or "voting"
are specifically ordered and ordained...and precise dates and times
are set forth wherein those inclined to vote are allowed to do so
at their mandated polling places.

In our DW Democracy, we set the time and place for voting. If you
choose to cast your vote outside these parameters, you can be sure
that it will be ruled invalid, fraudulent and of no account and
you WILL suffer the consequences of your actions.

5) I personally find your "you don't know shit about running a server"
attitude to be quite offensive. If you expect to have a reasoned
debate in these forums, I would suggest you curb the "I can do
whatever I want" frame of mind and try to craft a more thoughtful
reponse.

6) Mid game map voting is not allowed.

You came to the wrong place looking for support for being kicked. Not only did you break a rule that the server mentions like every 10 minutes, but you argued with an admin. I mean... Come on, how stupid can you be? That's like if you came to my house and changed the channel on the TV, I'd kick your butt out too. So listen, just be a big boy, and accept the kick. Don't repeat the same mistakes, and you'll have a good time. :)

Btw, it's not like you didn't get numerous warnings from Franky, he's a patient guy, believe me.
