OK, it's back, and will stay there unless someone can give me proof of something bad happening.

Thank you, Thank you, Cheap :plasma:

No. TBH, I would like to run the latest version. Unfortunately, Shambler is an absolute perfectionist and tinkerer and rarely makes his realease final. It's currently at beta17 or something ridiculous like that.
I'd rather not cause mismatches every month.
Shambler, do you see finalizing this anytime soon? If you need help beta testing with the idea of making it final, I will load the latest beta.

Like you said, I'm a perfectionist ;) I doubt this will ever be final as I have an extensive list of things I still want to do. (oh, it's beta18 now btw ;))
The mismatches really aren't much of a problem so long as clients don't install ONSPlus, when travelling between ONSPlus installed servers it's as simple as disconnecting from one server, typing Obj Garbage (I have no idea why UT2k4 doesn't do that automaticly) and then joining the other server.
The majority of recent changes were mainly to help Titan get rid of horribly CPU intensive mutators like UAdminMod to improve performance, to fix new servercrashes I found and to get my old team balancing mutator running again and back in testing, I don't 'think' I'll be making many more updates for while.
EDIT: I forgot to mention the main problem with renaming the package: It removes ONSPlus from the whitelist.

Shambler, if you would, I have one request for ONSPlus. Could you add a modification to allow the admin to log in silently?
There are three aspects of Uadminmod I use, and all are indespensible to me.
1. Team balancing
2. Messages
3. Silent Admin login
With the latest release of UT2Vote they have added messaging. You now have team balancing. So the only thing left is the silent log in. Is that something you could code for?
Thanks very much!

Edit: I just noticed a thread on Titan regarding team switching. I did not realize ONSPlus didn't prevent team switching. Maybe ONSPlus does not do what I thought it did in terms of team management.
Can you describe how your team balancing work? How is it different from 2k4's balancer?
In terms of preventing switching, my suggestion would be to just keep it simple as UAdminmod does it. It determines if the switch unbalances the teams strictly in terms of the number of players (ie, if it is 6 on 6, and someone tries to switch making it 7 on 5, it prevents it. If it is 7 on 6, and you switch from the 7 to the 6, it will allow that. And if it doesn't like the switch, it will announce to the server that XXX has tried to unbalance the teams, and then it switches the person back.
This system is not perfect, but better than trying to figure out what the winning team is. And TBH, I wouldn't want to allow people to switch to the losing team either. The losing team is losing for a reason, they are weaker and I don't want two or three people switching to force an imbalance in numbers and cause a comeback because of that.
Regards,
Rich

Ah, well UAdminMod is still compatable with ONSPlus if you want to use it..BUT at Titan we got rid of it so I could continue work on TitanTeamFix (our seperate teambalancing mut :)), here is the current version:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~JBarrett847 ... .8beta.zip
N.B. The .ini settings are complex and there is absoloutly no documentation yet...also I'm going to be updating it a hell of a lot in the next while, probably ONSPlus too so that I can improve compatability.
It currently works the same as UAdminMod's team balancer except I've removed the 'teams' command and set it up to work better in TAM, I have a lot of other things planned for it tho...as for preventing a player from unevening the teams, you should use the bPlayersBalanceTeams option that is in UT2k4...that prevents it. (I think)
Now, as for the admin stuff...well Piglet has been working on that :)
http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/sh ... p?t=525590
He currently has an unreleased(?) version which I think has silentadminlogin and a whole crapload of other stuff he is testing and finalizing (with nearly all admin-related UAdmin features implemented), you should see an update there soon :)
