I say to ignore the test results. I would like to see us interact with the xBox folks. It will be soon enough where the xBox people realize that they can't win, and so they'll drop the console and pickup a PC instead. I guess that's why Microsoft abandoned this idea.

I think you were being facetious here, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this was a major factor in disallowing crossplatform play. Microsoft absolutely would want to coddle their customers from having to face the big bad world where people can turn 180 degrees in under 5 seconds and don't need auto-aim to hit their targets.DW_Ant wrote:I say to ignore the test results. Microsoft specifically forbids mouse support on XBox games.
And that's exactly what the article is getting at. If they allowed combined play, people would see what a disadvantage they're at, and it would be bad for business for them.

Been saying this for years. No console controller will ever beat a good keyboard and mouse configuring for any FPS games.
