New Servers

OK, should all be fixed. That's what heppens when yoy cut and paste at 4am.

Ok, I am having a bit of a problem with the "to serve man" (It's a cookbook!!!) server

My keys seemed to be remapped. My L key is now mapped to the in game menu, which is fine I guess. It normally switches between Avril and RL. But, my use key (u) is not working. It does not seem to do anything. So, I can't complete any objectives and I can't get into any vehicles.

I feel somewhat helpless in the game then.

Any ideas?? :albino:

No problems with the cookbook here. Played smooth last night .

zeus, I had the same thing here with the "u" key. You can try "e" or if that dosen't work just go into settings-input-configure controls and under Game set use under Key1 to "e" (or whatever you need it mapped to). Did it for me. Not sure why this server/mod changes it though. Hope this helps! It is a great game, not too sure about the recipes though.... I would like to better understand the L screen thingy and its usage and function. Lemme know if you get it figured out! KE

L is remapped for the RPG functionality. Hit that to take your experience points.

Interesting... I think that part of my problem is that my U key has some complicated mapping and it may have confused the mutator.

So, I also mapped use to my middle mouse button, so now I can at least get in the vehilces.

I think that I screwed something else up though.. ;)

Oh well, I will figure it out..

Great server Toxic! I got lvl 40-something, fueled only by my need to beat Sweatr's 83 (at least he was yesterday, mighta changed by now). Umm. a suggestion... I don't know how hard this would be but could you make a mode that's like people against people, no aliens? That would allow us to have a thing like... If there's a bunch of people or something and maybe we could try a scrim. Assault is my newest addiction BTW. As a matter of fact, I don't like ONS that much anymore. I mean, I'll play it if there's people on and it's a good map, but otherwise I'd rather play TAM or Assault and sometimes DM.

So are you saying you want regular assault as a votable option? I think I can do that. I'm not sure how all the mutators will play with regular assault though.

The only problem with that is that it is hard enough to get 5 people on one team much less have enough people for both teams.

BTW Toxic, I think that there is a bug on the Mothership map. The last two times I have played it, once you go to the "land on the ship" stage, it crashes.
