Alpha was just asking me if me, Cams and Trigga know each other since we live in the same country and I was just telling him that that we do know each other and we work in the same place, bascially. :compress:
And also if I look like my avatar. :cyclopsani:
What's really funny was that I pasted your conversation into babelfish.altavista.com and got little or no useful information. Proving once again the difficulty of automated non-contextual translation.

LOL yeah, it´s amazing how easily can the Spanish language be deteriorated these days. Lacks all structure and the correct use of the rules we learned at school. Perhaps thanks to the Internet, or just thanks to Reggaeton. :drunken: :cheese: haha.

Anyways, sorry I haven´t been able to attend the scrims/practices. My newish Samsung LCD died, and I have been sharing the 17" CRT from my mom's pc every now and then. :'(

Btw, sucks living in a 3rd world country. (... but that's a whole different topic)

Peace out, cya around.

Hey, Cams!

Agree with you about the language deterioration...most conversational Spanish has become too idiomatic for me to fully comprehend. I can still read and write it....and parse out what you guys are saying...just takes me a bit. :compress:

Sorry to hear about your monitor situation. Hope you get it fixed or a new one on the way soon! Very hard to feed the UT addiction on borrowed monitor time!

See ya!

I hear ya there Karma.

Thanks Kaeolian for the proposal. Wish it was that simple.

Just for venting, I'll dig in to the 3rd world country rant. :compress:

As most of you know, we (Trigga, Weasel and I) live in Panama, Central America, and we usually wonder why most electronic products differ so much in the USA from the ones sold here, specs and pricewise. Regardless of that, I decided that a needed Flat Panel LCD.

As there isn't a descent option locally, since Samsung site only shows very few with low/limited specs, and if you are lucky enough to find one available at a retail store it will cost over $500 (for a 19"), I decided to purchase a nifty 204B (20", 1600x1200, 5ms) in the US for about $350 (which is already half of my monthly pay check) plus shipping all the way down here.

Just to my luck, the thing died after about a month, and Samsung Latin America would not grant its warranty, so now I have to ship back a 21lbs. LCD to the US in order to get it serviced.

So this is just a small example of why it sucks living in a 3WC. :-)

Hopefully it'll be fixed and I can get back to the joy of UT on a 20".

Oh well, time and money will tell. :-)
