We can still beat the monsters, it will just take a bit more time...

I just tried connecting and no one was in the server. That TV.... map was up. I downloaded most of the stuff then I got a connection error issue saying this ------>

I don't know what that means, but I thought that I would note it real quick in case something needs to be tinkered with :clown:

I have been getting refused to send errors on and off. But, it has been really inconsistant.

"Refused to send" errors are usually thrown when a server has bAllowTransfers=false and the redirect server (or the file on it) is unavailable for some reason. I believe it can also happen if the signatures for the same file on the two servers don't match and the game server is not allowing transfers.zeus wrote:I have been getting refused to send errors on and off. However, we were having this problem last night and I'm not sure what cleared it. I was investigating it and only half-listening to vent when someone said it was fixed. I guess Wraith said some magic incantation and did a rain dance to unclog it.
On a related note, a version mismatch occurs when the *client* has a different version compared to the game server. It may even have been retrieved from the redirect server to the client, but still be incorrect. But this is more likely to occur when a file was 'uncached' and the client is unable/unwilling to override the file via the cache.
