I always use the bars - the circle is to big & annoying

Circle for me. But then i've never tried the 'bar' style so my preference is just because i've never tried the alternative!

Monkeyspunk the bar was standard before they started messing with it and gave use the circle style! By the way Wail I use the circles all the reasons mentioned above, and it does not get in the way of seeing past someone.

You can't really do that when there's multiple rectangles overlapping eachother. Circles fixes this issue :cheers:

it just comes down to personal preference, i use bars because i always have, and it looks weird when i try to change


i doubt that before this thread anyone was thinking hard about the pros/cons of the awareness style

in the original UTRPG was there an option to get the numbers in awareness and how do I access it?

On topic, I hadn't noticed the circle style, I thought the circular awareness meant the monsters to the side and behind me's bars appeared at the edge of the screen! ^^ stupid me AGAIN
