Yes WM in low level can be quite fun for DM vets who love dance to avoid damage. Even at high level you will find that thrill by avoiding titans instagib rocks and such things without using a globe.
You have to get DR above 300 before seeker hits actually get managable. Since maxing DR can take a while, i will suggest you get a few other stats at moderate levels before going down that long road.
I know people will differ on what to do, but my personal recommendation is to get your health bonus at 200 and your vamp at level 3 or 4. Also ammo bonus should have 150 or 200 at least. Some Weapon Speed is good too. With just those small levels of stat you will have great survival and attack power while you go down the long road of maxing DR. I'm sure there are other things too but those few things come to mind. You can also do as Franky would suggest and add to various stats a little at a time, keeping a balance, such get a lvl of vamp, then 100 of heath, then 50 of DR, and then repeat cycle, and etc. It's all good but the main thing i want to point out is do get some health, ammo and vamp early on and you will not regret it and you will be able to have lots of fun while you are busy maxing DR.
