Yes that is the Sample Package. Publishing a full package was on my radar. Unfortunately, my time distribution spreads thin especially with the recent server incidences.
If you want, I can spend my available time for the monsters, or do you rather have me work on the server exploits?

hahaha, is that a trick question??? hahaha
What I did:
1. backed up the 4 folders from UT2004 dir
UT2004/Map
UT2004/System
UT2004/StaticMeshes
UT2004/Textures
2. extracted the contents of the
Sample Package.rar file and copy->overwrite into the respective 4 folders....
i did not delete the original folders, so for instance folder "maps" has other maps other that Temple-Run
3. Run the game.exe
Instant Action -> added the 3 mutators (Monster Assault RPG, Monster Threat Mutator,
MutONSVehicleFix)-> play
I got the following maps (all maps in the list run) except
AS-BP2-AcatanaEvolution-b15 which I added manually... monsters are there only in
AS-TempleRun and
AS-BP2-AcatanaEvolution-b15
I couldnt get other ME maps to be added on that list, even if I tryed to add them manually (extracting the cache *.ut2 file into the
system or the
map folder of the UT2004) or
using UT2004Mi tool
any ideas ??

so, my questions are the following:
1. any ideas how to add more maps in the map-list ?
2. why is the default game difficulty set so high ?
3. why are bots (in ME offline version) so stupid ?

Open your ut2004.ini and search for :
PurgeCacheDays=
Files in cache get deleted after 30 days by default.
As ME-server has been offline for more than 2 months, your ME-mapfiles are likely to be deleted.
So you better set it to 60 or 90 days to keep files longer next time.
If you desperately need some ME-maps , we will find a way to make you happy :scool:

did that once, didnt work... config files (that interfere with OS/registry/system) do
NOT always work !!!
+ini file settings
values must be defined, otherwise
value A = no value = return setting to default value
i got 13 ME maps alright....yet only 1 map can be added in the
ME offline mode's map-list (Acatana of course) :cheers: :banana: :banana: :banana:

Didn't mean to set no value, but to set it from standard 30 to 60 or 90.
Works without problems here.
Anyway, if you want a speciel ME-map, i can upload and send you a link.
Just tell me which one and i'll have look if i can serve.

in these
other maps, do you have monsters spawn ?
ps1: I set the value to 999 for fun (that was last year) and it didnt work....and idk why....
ps2: it is highly advise-able to empty your cache, even if its a
game's cache (unless your internet connection can not withstand frequent dl's of large amounts of data....)

I can play all maps offline, but only standardmonster spawn (Bugs,Krall, Skar, etc.) in ME-maps, none from DW-monster-roster.
Atm i am trying to get at least one little jellyfish to spawn in Opportunity_Knocks, not much success yet, spawns only gasbags instead.

ok, now tell me, how did you manage to get all maps to play in offline mode????
Instant Action -> DWMonsterAssault -> map list

I guess all maps are shown in that list, in order to play them.....
