yeah thanks =D i really need to get my bike sorted thats all on my to do list =D lool nah its not new at all i just try to keep it looking nice, it gets cleaned alot lol. Its about 4-5 years old now. Just had so many injuries n stuff ive had trouble even being able to go out as often as i want to so ive not spent the money i would have on it.

i always use to use metal pedals, my shins have the scars to prove it lolol, which were really good till i broke them lol and i done the dumb thing of letting my dad go buy me a new set which are plastic crap things lol. has been on my to do list to get a new set for hell knows how many months hehe. I have a bit of spare money so might go have a nosey for a new set =D

everything on my bike is quick release =D half the reason i got it originally hehe makes life so much easier when changing parts.

i have a heck load of decals n stuff from MTB UK which im gonna have to dig out =D I'm sure i have a set of metal dust caps sumwhere hmmmmm ive moved house that many times i can never find tiny little things like that lolol

So anyway, back to the topic......Theres one other thing for mountain bikers/BMXers to try - Town riding or street as its also known, this is nothing new but its still much fun, and i mean town centre/shoppin centre btw.
Do not try this in the daytime because youll probably be arrested for knockin someone over, sunday night time is ideal.
You wont need lights for this although you should take some in a backpack in case u get stopped by the police which WILL happen on these trips, now the best thing about town riding is that you get the whole place to yourself and can ride where u normally cant. Its peaceful and kinda weird having it all to yourself its a strange feeling indeed but so much fun.
Steps , Ramps , Service areas and Multi storey car parks make excellent riding grounds, were gonna wrap up warm equip ourselves and go this sunday - im gonna play on the town hall steps its huge cant wait!

=D town riding is great fun. i use to live on the south side of Glasgow n use to cycle into the town centre everyday to get my bus to school =D I always got back really late soo had the whole of Glasgow City Centre to myself, Buchanan Street is great fun at night =D Haha stopped by the police uuuh nope they have to catch you first. A good police chase through the streets where they cant go always adds to the fun hahaha i just usually politely wave to them as they shout at you to stop hehehe :tongue: they give up pretty quick for some reason though which was always a bit disappointing lol. Also town riding while there are alot of people around is a bad plan at the best of times but if its wet its a really really bad plan because the streets get extremely slippy, no grip what-so-ever, and you will end up knocking someone over or coming very close to it, i learnt that the hard way. Think i nearly gave some guy a heart attack i had to actually make myself fall off the bike so i didnt hit him lol. Its great fun with more than 1 person to because racing through the city is sooo much fun!! you will be surprised how many places you can find that you didnt know existed as you try to find the fastest way possible to the finish hehe =D

P.S. im not condoning running well cycling from the police lol. Do not run from the police unless you are like me and are completely insane, as everyone keeps pointing out hehe =D Also not wise if you dont have most of your face covered lol.
