Might as well mention this here: Currently I'm looking at a lot of the monsters on the server, adding some new ones and organizing and balancing things a bit more. One of the things I'll probably do while I'm at it is look at giving a modest power increase for pet monsters to make some more of them useful. If you have any particular suggestions on that front please voice your opinions -- The main thing I'm considering right now is possibly adding some defensive powers to certain monsters (e.g. health regeneration, or Titan Rock resistance) and some more offensive power to others (in particular, perhaps a wave-based adjustment of how much damage monsters do, so that they can be useful at higher waves without instakilling everything on low waves).

I think a modest (very modest) increase in damage would be a good idea. As would titan rock resistance. The problems is pets don't know this word 'dodge.' Out of interest how hard is it to include new pets? I'm not talking about seekers, but I think it would be a good idea to give medics the various types of titan and queen.

If you do decide to include various monsters, then I would recommending allowing medics to clean up their inventory. Not being able to toss their tokens away to teammates, but rather destroy the artifact like the Cry of Repulsion.

That wouldn't be too bad an idea even without added monsters. It really does get cluttered.

Yeah - I don't think this will happen in the same update, but I would like to get rid of some of the monsters. There are just too many, and the structure of it doesn't always make sense (Mercenaries take 10 monster points where Elite Mercenaries take 9 monster points, for example).
What I may end up doing is making it so you get 3 monster artifacts, but only 3, at some level of Loaded Monsters. One offensive, one defensive, and one whatever monster. Though perhaps it would be easier just to make the monster artifacts destroyable.
Although frankly I would not expect Pupae to stick around, just to make it more difficult to leech Luci XP.

3 options may not be enough. People have their favorites, my favorites are the queens, razor flies, brutes, and gasbags.
I've seen others spawn mercs, titans, raptors (assuming because they only had 100 adren though), and others.
Destroyable tokens may not be a bad idea, but the monsters don't live long enough to make them effective. Sometimes, my flies spawn in front of a rock.
Pupae can go though :thumbright:
