and i get accused all the time in invasion but not in anything else, what noobs amirite

In general (and this goes out to everyone), you really need to know your stuff before you call out a bot accusation. Otherwise they mean nothing. And this means knowing what to look for, whether it be blatant lock-on aim or subtle toggling, or radar.

If you suspect a bot accusation, don't make a big deal out of it in chat. In other words, keep your mouth shut. Instead, quietly spectate. Or better yet... leave, change your name, and spectate. And watch. If it looks suspicious, THEN demorec it.

I use to take pics of bot accusations on me because I thought it was funny. I stopped after about 20 because it was getting old. The majority of them were just inexperienced.

And if someone has a bit higher of a ping (50's or 60's) it doesn't mean that they SHOULD have bad aim. The packet loss is really what screws you up, not ping. Unless you have like 120+ ping, and then you might as well disconnect.


EDIT: Just realized the last post is like 3 weeks old lol. But still I think it's important that newer players know what to do in these situations.
