actually if you look at the hitbox on Haelquin and MrCrow (the characters you are referring to) then the top hats are OUTSIDE the hitbox. This is if memory serves though. i could be wrong. However the reason why people use fat characters is because they are easier to see when colored and provide a more accurate target for the hitboxes.
i prefer XAN for fat body and a definable head. but that is just personal preference. I find gorge too hard to hit headshots on because his shoulders are right around his head. and hitting a headshot 60% of the time is ungodly. the headshot box is so small and player movement coupled with ping and all sorts of other factors make headshots pretty much random/luck. sure you can aim at an area and hit them semi consistently but i have litteraly shot the same point on a target multipe times in a row and been a normal hit one shot and a headshot the other. again i talk about personal experience and feelings i dont really know how the code looks other than the actual hitboxes themselves.DW_Hornet wrote:Hey st i forced all my models to gorge, but occasionally i get one with a wierd bleached out skin. I asked a few people diffrent models and how easy it is to hit a headshot about 60% said no diffrence, whats your take?
as for the weird washed out models it is probably a custom skin that the game doesnt know how to make sense of.
