Eureka! I got how to beat Hornet and/or anyone else! Watch my brilliant plan:

As soon as I figure out how to get an image on here...

Well, if anyone can tell me how that would be good. But before I forget, I gotta say this. OK, say you got a 3 man team. You walk in a line, all weilding link guns. According to Hornet:
* Link Gun
* Primary Damage: 30 per cell
* Secondary Damage: ~9 per cell
Now, when you come upon enemies, one person, the Primary, will shoot the alt fire at him/her (you gotta get in range, it's smart to sneak up on them). The other two (or one or three) teammates will link the Primary. Seeing as you get about 9 damage per cell on the link alt, and for every person linking that adds an exponent, you got yourself 9 to the third power per cell. That comes out to 729 damage per cell. You use a cell per second, about, so before they know what hits 'em they'll be dead. Correct my math NOW if I'm wrong, but even if I'm off just a little, or like by 500, it's still gonna hurt. And kill in a second or two.

If what your refering to is useing 3 people to boost your link damage. It does work, however you really need to watch out for shock combos.

WOW - this is complicated. I always just play by a few simple rules:

1. If it moves, and is not your team color, kill it. you can do so by blowing its head off, or by working at the body with a multitude of weapons, all of which hurt it.
2. If it moves, and is not your team color, it will try and kill you, so watch out!
3. If it makes noise, but you dont see it, time a shock combo right in its face!
4. Finally, and most importantly, if it colors its name yellow and black, and likes to alias a lot, it is probably gay.

LOL JK good stuff... (but your still a noob botter)

P.S. this is my 69th post... ROFLMAO :la:

Team colors

I personally play with yellow and black team colors. Enemies are always a glaring yellow. You can set this up by hitting the home button. If this doesnt work you will need to bind a key to menu3spn. Basically you want to check the match hud to color on the second tab. Also, you want to hit the third tab and its one of the checkboxes will force enemies to a color. This is nice since i know who im going for every game, even if i switch team in the middle.

Noise

As i mentioned before, everything that happens makes a sound even the way you jump. Most dangerous ones are those wooden creeks that ive noticed no one pays attention too. Also on rankin there are puddle noises and metalic clicks. Elevators and jumppads are death traps, once you use those everyone on the map should know your appoximate location.

Map flow

Knowing maps is key, if there are hallways that lead to certain areas try to position yourself for a better shot on the enemy. Shooting at someone when your faceing eachother, is a question of skill and sometimes luck. Givin the nature of the map your fighting in enclosed areas you can usually guesstamite where your opponenet will be.

Binding is essential to winning. Once you get used to a binding, don't change it or it'll screw you up during the first while. And gamepads help too.

Doesn't work that way.

Two people linking directly to a primary linker using secondary will do something like 36 dmg per hitscan tick. (9x1.5 + 9x1.5 + 9)

Three in a line will do something like 50 dmg per hitscan tick (9x1.5 + 13x1.5 + 18).

At no point does linking ever become exponential (it's multiplicative).
