Oh god, no.. Not battlefront...
I used to play on Onimpotents all the time. It was the first server I regularly hung out on, posted to the web site, etc.
That map would come up every 5th time, I swear. And as a N00b even I could figure out it was not a good map. No one understood that once you take the other teams bunker, the map was pretty much over. All you had to do was hold that node. And it was very easy to hold it since it was hard to attack and there were mines in there.
Plus, there was a serious lack of vehicles. Lots of tanks in the middle, but the bases were underpowered with slow vehicles, which sucked for a map that was that large.
I litterally stopped going to that server and started playing here (a decision I certainly don't regret) because of that one map.
I wish that there was a way to classify maps in the voting process. That way maps like Bitchslap/Dreamus/Dreamus2/etc would be in a group and you could have a bunch of Tank maps in a group and say DeathDome/SpamBox/etc in a group. And the groups would pop up like maps today. And if you wanted to play a DM you had to choose between Bitchslap or Dreamus or Dreamus2. And once you chose one, the rest of them would be disabled until you played several other groups. Playing those three back to back with ChainIsle 1 or 2 mixed in is just pure DM.
