Alright...Beta II should be up some time :)
New weapon placements. Mine layer becomes available on an earlier wave.
Goodie weapons are available at wave 5.
Shards Fire Loops should be working now
& BrainPan, your chocolate ice cream turned out to be a bowl of brown dirt....but ummm...It's there for ya. Just use your imagination :P

::Plays several rounds in beta II::
Well, I think beta II did the trick! Now that the weapon placements are balanced, Shards emitters are functional, & no one is reporting a messed up corrupted green sky effect. I think it's time to wrap up this project.
This project carried much further than the expected date. Shoot, I was expecting completion by November the latest lol. It's good to know that we may finally rest easy
-OR-
Tackle new future solo projects!
However, as the saying goes to art:
"Projects are never completed. They are simply abandoned."
I'm going to drop the paint brush & walk away from the canvas. I look back for the last time. A strange feeling dwell within as a mixture of victory and sorrow.
The lights in the room may dim, they are always available to be turned back on. I'm predicting some time in June, we will unite again for another project that today only exist through ideas.
To those who are interested in the second project:
Brace these ideas & prepare yourselves to transfer these ideas onto a blank canvas as we may yet do another project. We'll see you there :)

is this project QuiltedEdifice? we played it a couple days ago and about 7 people left. They just said bad map, necrosniper probably got a chatfilter warning for all the swearing. I dont beleive in saying a map is just bad.
It, if it is QuiltedEdifice, is alright. But I do have a few suggestions. You should put names on the doors to the areas and the corridors to them, and it is tiresome if you die after wave 8 because you die trying to hide. I suggest that you get the corridors wider and put in a HB.
But overall, it LOOKS good and is lowb-friendly (I consider myself a lowbie-friendliness judge.)

Glad to hear everything's finally working correctly, it's been a long ride but I think it all turned out well in the end
I haven't actually been able to play the new version (ISP's screwing up, so I probably won't have the internet during next week either), but I can say now that the map structure won't be changing at any point in the near future. Maybe if/when superchav returns his room may be added but that won't be for a looong time. This project is intended to be as it now is, and trust me we've discussed it quite a lot, so it won't be going the way of AmazingGardens or Kotam. However, if we do another project it'll probably be much smaller and easily linked. Shards.

okay. I guess it could be worse, you COULD have made all the lucis spawn in the corridor  hooray for you guys!

Usually a map remains a beta for ages. There could be very minor bugs that we've overlooked, or there could be problems in the future (like we get a new weapon magic ability, and that thing can ummm, ....ummmm....hmmph...screw something up with the map ;)
Main reason is that it's not worth sending Wraith (& have him waste some time uploading the map & waste people's time redownloading the same map) because of a change in the title.

Whose building the skybox? I think we can only build up to two skyboxes.
You can have as many as you want, if you know how to accomplish it.

It's a very old topic.
That question was answered about 3 years ago.
