Survey: Does anyone use the old Awareness style?

I would max out DB and DR as well as Health, Adren and a lot of other things before even thinking of getting awareness. I think awareness was one of the last things I got.

I am of the "other" school. I buy level 1 awareness early on with new characters. IMO the minimal cost is greatly out weighed by the fact that you can see (and therefor kill) monsters so much faster/easier.

and anyway you can always ask someone with awareness whether luci is dying or not ^^ (thats what I want it for)

If that's the only reason you want it, maybe you should get it and you will realize its true value.

Lvl one suits for me. I don't buy lvl two until I'm outta needs to buy.
I have yet to purchase lvl two lol.

I often buy level 1 quite early on, sometimes even among my initial 240 stat points, since it's useful for stealing kills and knowing when to run for it. Level 2 isn't worth it until you're a high-ish level though IMO.

If that's the only reason you want it, maybe you should get it and you will realize its true value.

IMO low lvl players usually are not out fighting. They are more likely to be hiding and spamming mines or linking someone else. So in this case since you are not looking at what your killing its kind of a waste of stat points. At a higher lvl if you want to know what the health of a monster is then sure awareness can help you steal some easy kills. But again IMO the few kills you get are not worth spending the stat points on. My lvl 122 medic doesnt have it and I won't get it alot of other things are maxed out.

IMO low level players would be low level for a lot shorter time if they were out fighting. Yes on the higher waves they might hide, but the numerous additional kills/hits they can get on the lower waves (and this is the main time they're going to get any kills anyway) will help them level more quickly. I think level 1 pays for itself rather quickly (level 2 is a luxury).
