Sorry I couldn't make it last night. I was at work for like 10-11 hours, and I had a beer calling my name at home.

Yeah import me to the USA !!! Then I wont have any troubles practising,
Budding IT techie up for grabs here who wants to employ me =P
I spent two weeks visiting friends in the US a couple of years back and found it a real struggle to leave its so much nicer over there. The ppl in general are nicer lifes more relaxed and theres so much more to do.
On the down side tho ya'll drive on the wrong side of the road ure cars have massive engines but still go slow.... and there seems to be an issue with ure police not liking street racing lol which really doesnt suit me to well. Plus im not 21 yet so I wouldnt be allowed to drink. Apart from all that I wanna move !
As for UK people the only other UK person who I know plays on DW is Gorz and he aint an SVA is he ?

What part of the UK are you from and what part of the US did you visit? I spent a semester over there in 97. People were very nice. A little standoffish, but once you get to know them, pretty nice. I spent several nights drunk in a pub singin kareoke. The british and their Kareoke. lol..kaeolian wrote:Yeah import me to the USA !!! Then I wont have any troubles practising,

Now, the parisians.. that is whole different story. I got patted down looking for bombs on the subway in Paris.
Well im actualy from the south coast, southampton for you guys that dont know England too well im sure uve all heard of the white cliffs of Dover, thats just round the corner from there.
Now I live near lincoln about half way up the country. Little info on lincoln... It used to be the Capital of England before London, its got a pretty much entirely intact castle (fortification FTW) and a big assed cathedral which you can see from a long distance away. Elton John and his song writer Bernie Taupin used to live in the next village and drink in the same pub I do. Plus Machine Head have a converted old church which is now a recording studio near me.
And I dont know where you went for Karaoke but all I can say was the the 90's were dark times for the UK lol.
In the USA I think it was Virginia thats close to Washinton DC right lol ?

I dig accents too. Other day at Disney World (read: Florida, 45 mins from my house) there was this hooot british mamacita with an accent to boot. Is there a smiley that's drooling? Anyways... I can't be on much I can be on Saturday before 8 is good for me, sometimes I get to be on all night but not usually. I'll volunteer to be east coast cap'n! AttenHUT!Chicks dig accents. Count yourself lucky.
I was in Grantham, England. Little blue collar town. Pretty nice people.

So, you guys are taking teammates just by adding SVA into the names?
If so, that’s cool, cause my clan is very very small "NARC" and we want to be part of something u know...bigger :drunken:
So you let me know and I can talk to Trigga and Cams, maybe we can join you guys.
Until then...

In general the SVAs are just a group b/c they added the Tags, but the Tag exists b/c they are always playing on Spam Vikings. As this group grows and the more individuals want to participate in matches I think some may have to be filtered out for a couple reasons. For one, I don't really like the jerks who add the SVA tag for the match and then never were it at any other time. If there becomes an issue with an argument of who is playing b/c a ton of nobodys show up who never play on SV and just want in on the action, they may be asked to step out. Does this make since? (really tired after long day of work at the moment).

Yeah...you're making sense, Namu!! Totally agree with you about the "part time" SVAs.
I figure if you can't be bothered about wearing the tag, we can't be bothered about having you play in scrims...don't care how good a player. It's about commitment to the SVA/DW Clan community in my book. Wearing that tag is our way of bonding together, not to mention a way of saying thanks to the DW Clan folks for their generosity!
:bom:
And speaking of commitment.....::public service plug::
SVAs!!!! Get off your bums and get to practices!!!!
Thank you...thank you verra much!!
