::ahem:: Speaking as the only woman SVA...please don't lump vic into my gender!DW_Hornet wrote:brotherhood, what about a sister hood? I consider vic a gurl.

Exciting...yah...especially when I'm driving...you never (nor I, for that matter!) know who I'll land on next! :blackeye:
Side note: Mice at Fry's were all in package. No test drives...no looking at the ahh...undercarriage. heh
However...went across the street to Best Buy and lo and behold...three gaming stations set up..one with the G5...one with the 518 and one with the Razer Copperhead!! Like the main buttons on the Copperhead..they have a kind of rubberized coating for good grip, but it's very low profile and I didn't like the side buttons. They are right next to each other and pretty much flush with the mouse body and slick finished. I had a hard time differentiating between each one. So I'm stuck between choosing the G5 and 518.
Karma...a term that comprises the entire cycle of cause & effect...

Well with both mice, you wont have to deal with the balls getting in the way. Im actaully suprised you dont like the copperhead. Did you get a chance to feel the wieght of the mx518? The g5 comes with a weight system to modify/ balance the wieght of the mouse, also uses a laser instead of optical. Which is supposidly better for tracking, btw your mouse pad makes a diffrence too. If those 2 features are worth your ~20$ get the g5 .

-- Just so you know I use the G5 from logitec ,, I set the weight to like 18grams now - Thats a cool feature.. and not to mention the really high qlty laser for sensitivity and microscopic readings of movement '' -- But theres a couple of things i dont like about it .. one is the weel button -- is way to sensitive for scrolling but for the push down function it is really hard to press Believeme really hard! if you planing on using it ..- I had my flack keybinded to that function in my old mouse so I had to change it for this one to the single side button it has at the thumb possition .. It got so much resistance to press it down .. and what it does when you try to press it is that the really high sensitivity of the scrolling function activates and makes you swich to other weapons or zoom in or out your view as those are the defaults functions for the weel button ingame.. The other is the wire.. I thought it was a soft wire but is like kind of even harder than the regular mouse's so you got to give it a really long sleet otherwise your mouse is going to be moving by its own wire specially if you take off all the weight or put just alittle weight on it ... at playtime.. I like the feet' it's got make it go really nicely over almost any surface for that matter ..
I love my Mx510, it has lasted a very long time (got it when it first came out , 2 years ago maybe) Fits my hands perfect, have all the 8 buttons assigned to some weapon. The precision is great for me. The only time it gets annoying is when the (rather deep) optical chamber gets filled with a cat hair...then I end up shooting my foot.
Also, I think I have bad posture with my arms or something as my wrists get really fatigued after a while. I have an adjustable chair with padding on the arm rests, and i Have wrist rests for my keyboad and mouse. I find that after awhile I am usually resting alot of weight on these rests is this bad?

I got the Logitech G5 and believe me, it’s great, I need to get use to it at the beginning because of the sensitivity (I’m using it at 1600 DPI, planning to go on 2000 DPI later on), however I do agree with aLpHa, the wheel mouse is very sensitive, sometimes I end up with the shield for no reason lol :blackeye: …so I start running away… :ctf2:
In the other hand I don’t have a problem with the cable, I bought like maybe a month ago (b/c of UT04) and it’s a soft cable, so maybe they (Logitech) change that recently or something, who knows, but the bottom line is…it’s money well spent, I got it in Amazon (good deal). And I love the weight feature, that’s is a plus…
:toothy8: Now I need a special laser pad that it’s around 10 to 20 Pesos…so I’m having second thoughts on that one, hell maybe I put aluminum foil on my actual mouse and bam…my own homemade laser mouse pad…start selling it on E-bay and make some extra cash.

-- Well I dont know weasel.. is your mouse cable coated by some strange.. string .?. mm I forgot the words in english but well you speak spanish verdad panameno!?
But ok lets stick to the post topic .. -- And yeah One example of those guys Is Vic , I thought i had left him clear that isue about he just wearing the tag those nice saturday afternoons .. and then taking it off.. so -- Is up to him I also sent him a pm , and well I tried but if that guys doesnt bother to wear it one of this days untill the scrim day .. I think he is not going to be playing.. -- Another one I can think of right now is Ilusina -- so if you SVA's want those guys playing with you in the scrims.. let them know that they wont be in, if they dont wear the tag , and that is just because is not fair for you all time SVA's and for me It'd be almost insulting that some guy could join to have fun for that night and then go away and never worry about attend to practices or even the simple fact of wear the tag .. So they better know thats not going to be allowed no more .. ITs been 2 times and the 2 times some of those guys have done the same.. --

Hey weasel .. By the way .. The invitation is on me .. For you . Trigga , and Cams! to join the SVA's and wear proudly the SVA> tag at anytime .. So you can join the other SVA's for the Scrims on SAturdays --And i say its on me.. Because I've seen you , Trigga and cams play in the SV server since really long ago .. Know that the SVA is like a Club- of course way bounded with DW .. :) Not a Clan , so if yours is a Clan , maybe you'd rather to stick with it.. otherwise all three of you are welcome .. :blackeye:
So, practice tonight at 9:00 PM central time for anyone interested, correct?
