- Wraith .. You wanna take a look at the sheet antiportals I place there ? .. The way they are right now I believe wont occlude any network actors or will they == ? == Im thinking that maybe I should replace them with semisolid- unlit bsp brushes if these are just working on fps but still give them antiportal properties so we can oclude the players and shots the more we can .. as they are now I think I just went by the special brush / anti-portal and didnt modified other porperties.. my mistake there --

You can always stick a BSP brush next to the antiportal. The only thing to make sure of is that the antiportal is entirely in subtracted space.

A Palidin? O_o One think you people seem to forget is that, due to the terrain of this map, tanks have a difficult time. Wow, this is going to be a completely different map... why not put some link ammo lying around, too? Link runs out fast on this map, and you don't get much. Especially when its the gun you're using to beat stuff upside the head with...

-- Forget it.. I just realized the ones I Add to Dreamus are doing the job so I guess saddly theres no more to do on that isue .. well and at least peeps seem to dont complain about lag on that Dreamus ver anymore --
Node setup is goin on change then to the previously showed a page back and ..
Yeah manta from 6 will be gone ... adding a Paladin instead .. mantas from 1 and 3 stay .. and im thinking to move the extra base escorpions from base to nodes 5 and 2 to have some transport from the to 2 and 5 depending on wich side you are of course.. Theres goint to be more nodes with people spawning there thus more weapons lockers at hand so the link ammo is going to be cut down to a minimum and I dont know maybe some more flak , shock or rockets on 2 and 5 -

I gotta vote no on the Paladin. It's hard ehough trying to get that middle node back.
How about moving the extra core scorion up to the primary? That's prime spawn killing territory.
Otherwise, what about the idea (Cams') of removing Mantas completely, except for the middle node? Sounds very interesting.

Rip the tank out of Dreamus and put it in Spiffy, and rip the SPMA out of Spiffy and put it in Dreamus. It's GENIOUS! I shoulda come up with that...

We need to improve the CPU utilization on this map for sure. We're getting pinned @ 100%. Open up your bag of tricks.

- Well one thing is for sure.. 30 players at one same spot at the same time = no good for the server ... To start with that fact is why I decided to add more nodes that will keep the players in fights at 3 possible points instead of just 1 like it is now that for sure will help on that part , And yeah I say not good .. because we know the server has to process more data since everyone is shooting everyone is getting shot at , the moves everyone makes and this is .. if im in the view of other 20 players and I do a single step forward the server has to send that information to those 20 players around me , if I shot is the same .. so multiply that and youll have a good reazon for the server to go crazy -- I konw the other fights' too have to be precessed but in theres gonna be more 'meantimes' and that will allow the server to breath --
- I'd like to know if Dreamus 2 doesn't do this to the server --
- Im going to move some of the antiportals , just a couple of them and see what else I can do to solve this trouble.. Ill be working on this to get it out to test as rc2 ASP and we see if the changes help .. Dreamus is such a small map .. we dont have so many 'options' to spread the peeps around the map so if this doesnt works and keeps eating up the cpu , we dont want this on the server - any idea from Wraith would be highly appreciated on this isue! ..
