Sounds like a plan. I'm fairly sure changing RPG numbers would be more of a headache than changing damage numbers for monsters anyway, now that I think about it a second time.

Yes monster level at any given time is directly related to the lowest level player still living . Can't remeber the direct calc for it but I think it was a multiple of the level vs. lowest living player.

Once everyone dies off but me you can't kill squat , Vorpal is the only hope. The high ended players while there are low level players living in a hidey whole have it easy . Once they die your toast also usually. Also dependant on whose in the server.

I've brought this up before but why not just raise the low end a little , so that there is never anyone lower then ... That number I am not sure on , but I bet it is around 40-50 . This would make every wave that much harder.

As far as doing away with the score , could care less . it's all about the XP. Score is only good for keeping track of other players.

On another note , you should take a good look at the mp5 , maybe just lower the + level down to a maximum atainible of +3 , running a +5 inf mp5 you can run your triple damage round after round , this was the problem you had with GOD and an overpowerd weapon .

I have a couple suggestions.

1. Add more maps like Space Junk and Kotam. The difficulty offered by those maps and the teamwork required to beat them make them my two favorite maps on the server, and very fun to play.

2. Add a mini boss on the end of wave 8. Just add maybe 2 more powerful monsters (alien queens maybe?) after you've essentially beaten the wave. After all, wave 8 is when the weaker monsters start to give up hope and make way for the Titans, an event that bears the presence of a somewhat more powerful being.

We (people on vent) also thought of a few ways to balance the classes.

3. (For Weapon Masters) Advanced damage bonus gives 2% per level instead of one. Also, they're WEAPON Masters, give them the weapon making artifacts instead.

4. (For Medics) Add a healing "aura" so to speak. I know it has been mentioned in the past. Basically when you get near a medic you get a booster-type health regeneration minus the shields.

5) (For Medics and Weapon Masters) give WMs five levels of Advanced damage reduction and medics five levels of Advanced damage bonus.

or, I don't know how this could happen, but it seemed like a cool idea.

6) Take away the magic weapon maker completely, and instead use "Weapon Enchanters:" One-use artifacts that award a weapon with the quality stated, for instance. Adrenaline Masters could use an Energy enchantment once to make the weapon they were holding energy. If there were four Adren Masters, they could complete their set by wave 1. You would also give these to WMs, and they would drop off of monsters. Again issues seen with the doability of this one.

You guys gotta remember that stuff like the +3 and +5 on weapons is all part of druids rpg. The 2004RPG is mysterials which handles other things, and both are used on the server.

I don't think they should be touched, especially when they are testing a new revision of the rpg.

That said, the titans health can be easily increased now, along with the other creatures in the DW creatures pack. I think the starting point of a new player is about right, bringing them higher will not change the problem.

One thing we could do is set a date to "reset all player accounts" and with that, adjust the damage bonus, weapon speed, max adrenaline, and damage reduction downward some.

Honestly I think tweaking the monster level caluclation is the most major issue. Currently most maps have a safe rooms therefore a lvl 25 can last the entirety of the high waves and the high levels can wipe out the monsters with ease. Instead of doing away with safe rooms it would make sense just to adjust the monster levels. (I would hope this is a viable option too unlike some suggestions which would mean messing with certain mutators!)

Everything's fine. People suggesting here are mostly suggesting because of minor unpleasant things, not major trouble. The way it's right now, is the best way it is.

People suggesting things tend to be high levels looking for some sort of challenge...

In general I'd say to just keep doing what you've been doing. It's a great server with a nice crowd (mostly). I think the moderators do a great job and the banners with some of the rules help towards that end - leaves little room for the claim of ignorance. Excellent job all the way around, Wraith. Snaggle, too. And all of the map tweakers/makers, of course.

Trying new monsters every once in a while, throwing a new map in the mix occasionally (like maybe the one Wail made recently), and stuff like that is part of what keeps it at the top of my list.

My only "suggestion" would be to tweak (only slightly) a few things about the Druid mutator; but that's likely not going to happen. No big deal. It plays pretty well like it is anyways.

I really appreciate the tolerance you guys afford me when I jump down the throats of some of the dumbasses out there. I know I'm not a moderator and that it's not my responsibility to do so. I just have very little patience for stupidity. Hopefully I've done more good than harm.

For those who care, I'm trying to tone down my language a bit (i.e. my sailors mouth). Hopefully that will make it more enjoyable for some of the kiddos out there. Adluts too, 4 that matter. I know I have a tendency to say some pretty harsh things and I apologize to those whom I've offended (dumbasses excluded from this statement).

Thanks to all of you guys that put all the work into it. No real complaints here whatsoever.

I never had trouble with you, yet i'm not the wisest one of UT04 either..
