Alpha, I think the only change to this I'd like to see is RL at the core. Otherwise I think we're good for another try.

Flak secondary explodes into flak chunks, though. So, yes, while the shell is in flight it's only one channel... But once it explodes it will generate 6 flak chunks on its own (unless it hits a node, but the number of people who are using the Flak secondary to hit a node is going to be less than those using it to hit an opponent/vehicle).

I might think about creating a more server-friendly flak cannon which doesn't spawn flak chunks on secondary shots and which only shoots about 5 flak chunks per primary shot (with damage upped on each chunk to compensate) if anyone wants.

Still reading this thread. The big rock in front of the core is good for blocking but really good to get manta whored with no good way to shoot and avril. With it open you use to be able to chuck an avril into the fog and get a lock quite a bit. I think I respawned at the core and got rammed immediatlysince i was out in front of it to start.

Maybe if its smaller and rounded to climb on top of?

--Ok .. Guys and Gals.. Thanks for all your input .. POV's opinions etc etc .. This is what everybody asked for .. You better hold to your weapons and fight this infantry war on the moon because there will be a total of :: 2 tanks - 2 Hellbenders - 4 scorpions and 1 beautifull manta for the lucky spawn killer that will camp it -- Dont mind the weapon lockers are bast in weapons as best possible tought and thought -- As for optimization I did once again more changes .. All I could think of and lets hope the server will be happy with this , and also all the Dreamus lovers!! If this doesnt works theres still the last resource of - more nodes as posted in other pages of this thread -

OK, this is now on the server as Dreamus-RC2.

I'd really like to limit the tweaking. If it's not perfect, so be it. The next release after this will be final.

Tremendous improvement on the server lag, Nice job E. Lets leave this as is for a 2 weeks or more and get feedback.

This latest version is probably as good as it's ever going to get with Dremus without drastically changing the core gameplay of the map. FPS and the lag issues are again acceptable with the changes and the now tweaked gameplay is as it was for the most part on the original... for whatever that is worth.

Oh and talk of Paladins and more nodes with complex link setups on this one is just foolhardy. I'm the last one to defend this version of the map let alone the original but adding things like that take you far away from the reason most people who like it do so.

-Well It seems to be working , even tho deep inside me I dont like it .. Aside of one small Isue I already let Mr D know about - But Thanks alot for all the input we got on this one map , to everybody who posted opinions and pov's , Its just so nice and easier job when a lot of minds get into it .. Thanks - and lets hope it will still be a fun map .. :albino:
