Overdue Intro

I'm not sure what to say, but here goes:

A long time ago, on a UT2003 server that specialized in karate, I met some of the nicest players (Toxic Waste, Achilles, Big Red, Skully, among others). It seemed like the four of us have been playing together for the longest time. When the day came that the server went down for good, I put up one at home, dedicating it to karate on ut2003. I can't remember all the details, but eventually we formed a clan, and 4 years later we still are together, have a top notch server serving the ONS community as well as the Invasion and other communities.

When UT2004 came out, it was a blast, but after a couple of years of ONS, I began playing on other servers where cheapshot and other clan members began hanging out. They liked to go to this one server that was fun to play, trouble is that it lagged so bad, it took away from what it could really be. Anyhow to make a long story short, we decided to make an invasion server ourselves. It wasn't easy at first, and I'm thankful to the other clan members for their input and support. It still is changing, and hopefully for the better.

We welcome constructive criticism, and often it leads to changes for the better if we can do the changes. Sometimes some things are beyond our control or something requested is too specialized to do as we have to think of how it affects everyone if we change something. Keeping that in mind, please let us know of any ideas you have. We always like to hear what our players want.

On a personal note, when I'm not actually doing anything UT related, I have found a newfound passion for photography. About 15 years ago I had a Canon AE-1 program film camera.) I really enjoy taking photographs of nature, animals, scenery, and macro photography. I now have 4 lenses (2 of them L-series) I have bought within the past year and can now take all types of shots in my spare time. I have set-up a dedicated computer and full bleed wide platform photo printer to print out pictures. (If you don't print some of them and display them, then half the joy is gone.) Last week I went to a Canon class and learned alot of new tricks for my Canon D-20. As an amateur photographer, I'm always trying to learn new things and ways of doing things.

Anyhow, I just want to say a word of thanks to the DW clan, they have given me so many opportunities to do things that I had never imagined. Thank you all, and hope to see you on the Monster Mash Server soon!
