I was reading up news today at shacknews, and read about Gears of War coming to PC on Nov 6th

I am excited to play it. I have heard a lot of good stuff about it.

Oh yeah about time they release it for the P.C. I have heard alot of good things about it as well. Hope it has multiplayer online element as well.

It does. They will ad a new king of the hill mode, and all the downloadable content that was on xbox will be with it as well.

I played it on Xbox for the first time the other day in my friend's dorm. It was fun. My favorite aspect is the Chainsaw-Bayonet.

taz you read the requirement post? UT3 cards aren't all that expensive...

We have this on the XBox 360. Great game but I hate the control interface with a console controller. My son played through this game 2 or 3 times. I've seen this game on the PC already and it looks much better than the XBow 360 version. I hope it's an indication of what UT3 will be when it is released. I saw both games at an event in New York and Gears of War actually looked better visually. No way of knowing their version state at the time so take that with a grain of salt.

Taz the requirements for Gears of War will likely be exactly the same as UT3 seeing as how it is built on the UT3 engine. If UT3 gets pushed back again then it might also be interesting for some people to know that the UT editor will ship with Gears of War.

Epic is competing with itself? This is getting released between UT3's demo and Gold releases! Between GoW and Team Fortress 2 (can't step away from this game right now :D ) UT3 had best be pure digital sex if it hopes to succeed.

Since MS is the publisher, I am not sure how much Epic can do about it. But, I agree, it does seem kind of strange.

However, there seems to be some falling out between Epic and MS over the XBox360 network and payfor content on Gears.
