Is that the old or new GTS? I would assume old right 'cause the new are "above" the 8800gt?

Old GTS had either 320 or 640 megs memory while the new one has 512 or possibly 1gig.

It's the new 92 fab. Memory reads 512 as killa stated. New Nvidia high end will be out in another month or two after they have had time to get stock down in stores.

The local Bukos had a 8800GTS 320M not sure the rest for 199 . I'm thinking I should have grabbed it after looking at the charts. Going to have to keep an eye on the place.

I'm less confused now then I was after looking at the breakdown . But still confused about all the differant manufactures of the same card.

How much of a differance between ASUS , BFG ,LeadTek , PNY , XFX . XFX looks pretty serious about their stuff . Better question I guess are there any just to stay away from ?

- Always spend more than you want to when buying this things..what you call em.. - I'd stay away from PNY .. Best one imo XFX

i'd actually stay away from xfx.... granted i haven't had any problems with my 7900 gtx, but many people have had them go out after a short period of time. i've read lots of reviews from people that even say that xfx quit making their model of card after a brief period of time because there were so many cards that kept dying. luckily, mines still ok :).

i've heard good things about evga. next time i buy a card it will be from them.
