We need health packs!

Some maps were changed. BitchSlap , Dreamus 2 , and Dreamus. As for them, Health pack was removed. Why health pack should be remove ? They are clearly insufficient. People increased and those who need an item increased in number too. They should not reduce but should be increased conversely.
In order to recover our health, please do not let us commit suicide.

Having health vials, shields and anything that you can "pick-up" adds a "channel" for each item, that uses more bandwidth, as well as cpu power. The server has to watch what items have been taken, how long its been until it re-spawns one, and whenever any of these changes happen, each player must be told that such and such item is taken. Multiply that by 32 and it adds up.
The 3 maps had lots of those items! Especially dreamus 2. Remember how much more it lagged before they were gone? What do you guys want, more lag for health that only helps a limited amount of people, or everyone having the same health and overall level playing field with better playablity?
Some maps you can put those things in, other maps you can't do that, it all depends on several factors such as map size/#people who are expected to be in a single area/special FX/yadd/yadda....

What about replacing the 2 health packs on each side (the ones near the tank) with a keg-o-health and a shield pack (or a super shield pack) on Bitch Slap?
Or can you decrease the spawn time of each item so it appears more often?
Just a thought…

Correction of Dreamus2 is good. But I cannot agree dreamus-32p and ChainsIsile and BitchSlap. Most likely cause of lag is that a map is narrow. Almost maps are normal when some items are there.(Adara , Ahebban etc) When there is no health in a map, nobody can keeping the Spree. (without vehicle) Almost players will perform suicide charge. and I hate suicide charge. Please do not remove health packs.

Yeah...no kiddin about the health. The original Dreamus is a terrible map but I could usually do ok using the 50 shield and dual health pack near the locker with mines. I have always loved Dreamus2 (all versions) because of the powerups avalible in the lift and on both sides of the mountain in the dugout, where you can also reload on rockets, flak, and mini. I usually can control the middle by myself just by using the health and powerups until the server gets so laggy that the "zombie flakers" (many people running strait at you spamming flak primary) kill me.
On the same token 90% of players on 32p servers don't even go for health when they need it, even less go for powerups. One of the things that always amazed me about the map AirMars was that keg sitting out in the open that nobody would ever take it seemed...people not taking 5 seconds to double their health? I always go out of my way for a powerup even if its just a 50 shield.

Here's my solution.
(1) Some heath packs will be for Pomona only, players will be informed of this and instructed not to use them.
(2) If a
n00b comes too close to Pomona's Health it will glow with light as a warning.
(3) If the
n00b takes Pomona's health something bad will happen immediately.

And after reading Arienrhode's post I am determined to learn about the maps. Usually I dont know where any of the power-ups or health packs are. :blackeye:
