'U' is too far away

Is there any way to bind a different key for using artifacts?
Whenever I'm playing in the dark its hard for me to see the 'u' key and ill miss it and accidentally hit my teamspeak key, which would really screw me over if i was trying to globe in the middle of wave 15
Somebody told me i had to edit my user config file on my pc, and i did, but no luck

First open your User.ini file (located in your UT2004\System folder) in a text editor. Find the [Engine.Input] section and locate the key that you want to bind to. I use C so my line is

C=InventoryActivate

I remember mr.bigws talking about a keyboard he has with a screen on it and he can watch ventrilo on it to see who joins..

Just wondering if i can get a link.

and also how does it work.. like can you choose wat the little screen looks at specifically

maybe ur talkin about the logitech g15? it has lightet keys and a display where u can show different types of screens, but sometimes the keyboard automaticaly shows the information about the program ur using, sometimes u have to download an addon first. maybe u can show ventrilo there too.

yes it is the g15 and no you dont have to download any software just remeber to check the box in the ventrillo setup screen and have the software that comes with the keyboard installed

this is the version 2 im currently useing version 1 but the only difference is that i can change the angle of my screen

Maybe an alternative to a dark room is having this notebook l.e.d. light, just plug it into any usb port and its a small spotlight. I have one of these and they work well, they are selling for $2.99 at newegg, and they can be bent into alot of shapes. Use a usb extension if you have a desktop computer. Something to think about.

ok i actually got some help when i was playing on the server from some other guys
its in the control config menu!
d'oh!
very bottom there is a section labled rpg or something like that
