Dude, are you going to have AMD's baby or something? Don't be like the Apple Fanboys and blindly stick to one shred of hope for a good computer - roll with whomever is best - that's what it's all about =) lol Acy I couldn't avoid having some fun with ya.
So seriously, are these really going to be better than Intel's offerings?

From what I am seeing and hearing, they will be competitive with Intel. More memory in the L3 and no tlb problem along with higher overcloacks. Yeah I think they will be fine in this go round.
Not only that damnidge, everyone assumes big blue is better because they can throw everything advertising wise at you and bribe OEM's out the ass, to take their product weather it's better or not. But that just leads to more issues, I won't talk about because I will get the "Fanboy label" as you just gave me Haaa haaa!

That tiny bit of headroom for overclocking is awesome. In EXTREME overclocking (liquid nitrogen) Phenom II has apparently reached 6.3GHz.
Obviously, I think most people will have issues getting that kind of ridiculous frequency out of it, and there may not be too much validity to that statment, but, these results came from an AMD demo of the product.

Now if only liquid nitrogen was something everyone could get their hands on right?
If I see some good benchmarks and competitive prices I'll definitlely look into buying one for my next build. AMD could use some help.
