Toxic, seems you've got some files missing from your redirect as they were excessivly slow downloading - to the point where the server cleared out as virtually no one had the patience to wait. I didn't either, but I'm a quick searcher and downloader of maps. Problem files:

ToonVehicles.ukx
ToonVehicleTx.utx

There may be others from that map (ONS-TWMushroomForest-Fix) as I downloaded parts of the required files over two different sessions and so I don't recall if they were all slow. When it got voted in again this time, I went to the net to get the files directly so it may be all of them for this one - about a half dozen in all.

ONS-Crossfire32-R3.ut2 --> This map seemed very slow as well, although not as bad as the others. Might want to check it just to be sure.

On a side note, many complaints of lag tonight in the brief time I've been on. I didn't trace anything myself, but looks like you've got some dropped packets somewhere in your routing.

I ran UTDeps on both Mushroom and Crossfire...there are now fresh new compressed files on the redirect. Thanks for the headsup!

As for the routing....there have been some odd drop outs of routers over the last couple of days. My own routing went nuts last night, dropped me out of the servers completely a couple of times and when I could see the servers again, my routing from Dallas to Chicago had some extra hops through Denver that weren't there previously. Not a lot we can do...other than gather data if you use WinMTR or PingPlotter whenever you have major issues and email or PM me with the results.

Apologies for bumping this old thread, but I'm experiencing the same problem when loading:
ONS-TWMushroomForest-Fix.

I get very slow speeds when trying to download:

ToonVehicleTx.utx

It seems that I'm not the only one who bails, as the server appears to clear out every time this map comes up. Something wrong with server on this one?

I believe I've straightened everything out...Keeping my fingers crossed!

This certainly points up the importance for mappers to "mylevel" custom content! I ended up sorting through all my UT folders to ferret out the necessary files. It also reminded me that UTDeps isn't infallible (if you have certain files already in your installation of UT, it won't report discrepancies and since you can't "point" it at a particular installation of UT, you're stuck with doing sorting for them old school style...one file at a time!). In any event, all the files related to Mushroom Forest that I could find are now on the redirect. Please let me know if there are any other instances of slow downloads. Thank you! :cheers:

Great! I found myself yelling at the voting screen, "NOOO, don't select Mushroom Forest!" :)

You guys run a great server, it's usually asshole-free and people are mostly forgiving when you make a noob mistake :sdoh:

Also, another heads-up... I just made a donation and the redirect from paypal sends you to clandw.com, not .org.
