Get UTCache. It's a program that controls your cache folder. (that's where all the dowloaded maps are stored) With it you can uncache all the files into the appropriate folder. Very handy.
http://www.calvert.ch/utcache/
That way you can surf other servers without having to download their maps everytime.

What Curly said is really the best way to do it.
But if you download them off the website, just put the .UT2 files in your UT2004/maps directory. You'll never have to d/l them again.
You may also see other files in there. Just put those in the proper directories as well.
.usx - Static Meshes
.uax - Sounds
.utx - Textures
.ukx - Animations

YEs. A cache manager is a must. I prefer UI2004Mi. http://www.real-swedix.net/.
You can also goto your ini file and up the amount of days it keeps maps in cache. The cache manager is the only way to frag tho.

Gald you were able to work it out.
One other thing is that mapmakers frequently include custom music with their maps, but music is not pushable from the server. If you have the time and bandwith, download the maps from the site and grab the custom music in the zip file. And FYI :colors:
.ogg - Music directory
Not all maps have custom music, but some do.

cool thanks for the extra info. Yea the program Bomzin suggested will actually pull those out of the Zip or rar files and place them in the correct diredtory. So for anyone else looking its a great program. OH and i did download every map you had availalbe.it didnt take me long though i have a 3mbps download so even the 22mb file only took a few seconds.
