Current Specs. Ones in italic are planning to be upgraded.

Processor: AMD Phenom II 820 Quad Core (2.8 GHz)
Motherboard FOXCONN 2AB1
4 GB RAM
Graphics Card: HD Radeon 4200 (integrated)
PSU: Around 250 Watts
64-bit

I"m not looking for some $300 top-notch graphics card, just one that can run games like Skyrim, Red Orchestra 2, Battlefield 3, and Crysis 2 at around medium-high with at least 35 fps.

Thank you. My main concern for this is to find a PSU and good graphics card compatible for my motherboard.

ATI card are now in the 6000 series but a 5000 series should do the trick also.

A nice card to obtain, good performance for a reasonable price could be a "ATI Radeon™ HD 6870 Graphics (1GB)" for only 200$. There is the 6970 for 375$ that is 2GB thaugh if you want more power.

In the Nvidia product there is the GTX560 1GB for 225$ which is reasonable or the GTX570 1280Mb for 400$ (that's the one I have :P) for more power.

Good Luck

On a related note, Skyrim plays well on my old Core2 Duo e6600 EVGA 8800GTX system at 1680x1050. The draw distance isn't quite as good as it is with my newer box that has a 5870 and i2500k, but is is VERY playable.
