I read a story yesterday where a BestBuy already called police because people were lining up for the PS3... Talk about wasting your life away..

Yet high priced for a console it is the cheapest blue ray drive you will find i think .
With the USB you should be able to hook keyboard and mouse. Does this now make it so PC users and Console users can game the same game on-line? Time will tell.
As for shopping , not going near a store.

I keep hearing that the Keyboard and mouse will be non usable unless it is specifically for the PS3...ie must purchase from Sony.

Excatly . + USB= East access to more storage space . This thing is really not a console but a hybrid . It's going to be a whole other world for gamers.
The only problem with game compatibility on the net was keyboard vs. game controller, especially in FPS. Keyboard and mouse being far superior.

Yeah I still cant decide weather not they will mix pc gammers with consol gamers online.... I know there is third party software out there at the moment that lets you do this but I havent tested it my self.

Hmmm...I'm still leaning towards the Eos 5D...and I was surprised to see that Costco.com is actually selling them...with a hefty rebate too!
Of course...I can always ask Santa to bring me a 5D...but my chances of being good long enough to earn one is quite another question indeed!
Sooo....you gonna buy me one?
