The new server is a gas, but I'm having something changing my stats/ player name on invasion and the name on the other servers. Sometimes right off, other times, when the map changes (Invasion) . The only thing I've done is installed a vent overlay prog. but even without it I'm still getting put in the game as either Player or a random number. I have put all the relevant ini files to read only and still have the same results. The IP here is the same. Still havin a blast just want to know whats up. Should I reinstall? (last resort)

I don't know man. But, I would not put it past UT2004. While I have not had the problems you have had my weapon has gone from center to right handed several times over the last couple of weeks. Weird stuff.

Yea, kinda funny. I think I might have found the glitch and if so I'll repost just FYI. Wish I knew more about programming! LOL

Still not sure how the monkey makes the jump,....but I am pretty sure the problem was with a character skin I was using. How, why, who knows but if I use that skin I end up with a new name. Still don't know where it comes from since the .ini's are all read only but there it is....

I read somewhere that was caused by similar names or something like that , or maybe a name the mod didn't like . Try using a differant name maybe.

Covert ops was the skin, but alas, I'm back to square one, did it again this morning using the regular skin I always have used. Must be sumtin' else....I'll track it down. Just may take me a while! LOL Here' the skins link Covert Ops

So, what your saying is you had more levels and points before, ? and you lost them all ????, if thats the case, just do your reg. name SVA>KarnEvil or w/e, and do "Reconnect" in your console, cuzz the samething happend to me, if thats not the case of what your looking for, i do not no how to help you!

No it wasn't that, but I have since done a reinstall and all is well now, thanks
