I had the basic internet with Comcast (I think that was 4 MB download). I called them and found out that for an extra 10 dollars a month you can uprgade to 8MB download. The boost was pretty drastic and I think it's worth it for the extra 10 dollars a month.

I actually had a download of over 30 once, but that was tested in May so I didn't post it.
