No Bomzin? Come on Bomzin, play with us?

I think I may be able to get a few more guys together if time permits. When is practice?

No, we was suppose to be getting together and doing a little practice run so everyone gets familiar with the idea... Or at least I thought.

Not literally practice, LOL!

Ok, looks like we have gotten anybody that seemed interested. So the six of us will have to figure out a good time when we could all show up and be available for about 45 minutes for the draft. So myself, Acy, Damaged, Peaches, Savage and Fry will be forming a league for the upcoming season. I normally do fantasy drafts with a ten-person league, the fact that we have 6 teams should really allow us to all draft some quality players.

Anyone interested in having a mock draft this weekend at some point? Let's try to figure out some times if we do so that I can set up the league asap. The mock will be important for those who havent done a fantasy draft before, so let me know if you guys want to do a mock before the real thing.

Yea, I think maybe we should get together and do a practice draft although with us not having many people, it probably isn't necessary. Like you said, we will have good teams already anyway; However, I wouldn't mind doing a practice run.

Steelers rule, Ravens... Not so much... J/K!

... Not really.

As for the draft whatever day and time you setup is ok with me. As long as it won't interfere with my COD4 TWL matches.

When you join ESPN there are mock drafts that you can enter to get an idea of how the draft applet works as well as the draft. For those who are not familiar with drafts they are usually called snake drafts and since we have a 6 player league it will be from the 1st pick to 6th picks as follows.

1,2,3,4,5,6,6,5,4,3,2,1,1,2,3,4,5,6 and keep snaking back and forth until all positions are filled.

With only 6 teams each team is going to be stacked unless you really pick bad players. You can look at ESPN's draft listing or CBS Sports listing to see the top tier players at each position and get an idea of who you should draft and in what order you should draft them in. I won't give away my strategy for drafting but keep in mind that there are key positions you should pick with your 1st and 2nd pick. For instance DO NOT WASTE your 1st pick by picking a Defense.

Good luck and I'll see you whenever you setup the draft or a mock draft.

I'm with Damaged on that! I can be available anytime after 7:00 pm. I almost have my room ready at school and will be there a few hours this weekend but after 7 is my time. I just don't want it to interfere with COD practice or matches, I on the other hand am a S&D player and not TDM. :ssmile:

Peaches has decided he cannot give time to this so he will not be joining us, we need to find someone to replace him asap.
