Whenever I try to join a server, the entry ut2... (the black screen) it just freezes and doesn't load! :scratch: :sdull:

Is this any Server ? Can you play in SP mode . Are you having any other problems ?

If all was working fine and it just started I would do a full system scan for malicious programs. Malwarebytes usually does a good job .

You could be having other problems also like with a Video card or bad power supply. What are your system specs ?

This happens to me to once in a while, that the server doesnt load and theres a black screen. This has nothing to do with your computer. But I found a easy way to go back to server browser:
tab->disconnect

and ur back to server list. :swink:

Well yes, I do disconnect and reconnect, but I just want the problem to go away so I don't worry about it anymore.

It's the server's fault, so as long as those bad servers are up, and you choose them, you'lle get a black screen, but if you choose a good one, it loads perfectly

Can you or can you not play in Instant Action?

then it's not the servers you are trying to join, we need more info , answer above questions.

instant action works fine, but I figured a short term solution as like, clicking on the server then hitting the "enter" button. It loads and I'm on the server running.

Well I must admit I'm at a loss and that is a new fix that I have not seen yet. :scratch:
