By the end of April, there will be a new map for Monster Evolution.

Introducing Toni Seifert's Iguazu!

Get your sniping and hunting gear ready. This map is full of dinosaurs, dragons, and sneaky snipers!

Map difficulty ranking: III - IV
Duration: 1 - 2 hours
Average xp reward (when there's only 1-player): 1k - 2.5k
Custom Music: 5
Objectives:
  • 3 Proximity Objectives
  • 1 Hold Objective
  • 6 Assassination Objectives
  • 5 Button Objectives
  • 9 Destroyable Objectives
Cutscenes included

Due to sparse resurrections, this map is also be the first to introduce Isolated Combat concept where player monsters are able to play a mini-Invasion game while waiting for the next resurrection event. Feedback on this concept is welcomed. If encouraged, we'll add more of these mini-games in other maps with sparse resurrections.

Ridable dragons will be introduced here as well. Don't miss it!

Looking forward to this one a lot. Might slightly overshadow my next level unless I can get mine out first!

That wont be necessary. These dragons are fast and agile enough to dodge most guided projectiles.

Things to fix for beta 3:

  • Fix Energy Orbs
  • One resurrection shrine at the beginning
  • Fewer monsters (specially at power core)
  • Revise monster probability at power core. Always seems to spawn seeker monster setup.
  • Fewer aerial monsters at section before Assist Nalis objective.
  • Dynamic xp (less xp in beginning. More xp in the end)
  • Resurrection events for Ice Dragon altar
  • No hidden dropships at the end.
  • Artificial Dragon at the end cannot get to spawn.
  • Artificial Dragon deal less damage.
  • Respawn Krall for Isolated Combat once in awhile.
  • Isolated Combat zone needs to reward players for killing monsters there.

-Some more numerous but weaker enemies on a more regular basis to keep up the pace of the action within the scope of the larger scale engagements (e.g. progressing towards dragon shrines and fighting off snipers - But being harried by less immediately deadly foes)
-Improve the visual distinctiveness of the dragon shrines
-Add Dispersion Pistol Battery Extensions (Maybe? *Not Currently Working)
-Increase level limiter value to 200 (min). Currently Iguazu is a lot harder than Divine Fortress, but does not give similar experience reward.
